Leni Swims swimwear is a carefully curated collection of sustainably and ethically made swimwear. With a focus on styles that are made to last, all of our processes, colours, quality and designs have an emphasis on creating a bikini which sustainably and ethically considers all steps in a products lifecycle.
Leni Swims never follows fashion trends, selecting colours and styles which are cult favourites that will last a lifetime, with the perfect combination of basics and exciting colours to suit every girls taste.
Leni Swims proudly makes every piece of swimwear from recycled and sustainable products. As the environment is always at the forefront of our minds we ensure that all fabrics are made from these materials. From our plain fabrics, printed fabrics and even our linings.
Our printed fabrics are made from 83% Recycled Polyester 17% Spandex. All custom swimwear is made from 79% Recycled Nylon 21% Spandex. Finally our ready made swimwear is made from 90% Recycled Nylon 10% Spandex.
Our fabrics are made from regenerated materials from abandoned fishing nets and waste from landfills and oceans around the world.
Making your swimwear
1. Fabric dying: Our fabric dying process ensures that all Leni Swims pieces are made from the highest quality materials. Once our recycled fabrics are dyed they are sent to our production facilities to be sustainably and ethically made.
2. Production: Our swimwear is made by our wonderful seamstress Annie, in our Melbourne studio. All our swimwear is hand cut to your size, sewn and checked by our quality control team.
To start our shipping bags are made from home-compostable materials. They include corn starch and PBAT (a compostable ingredient which bonds the renewable ingredients together).
Every Leni Swims piece is packaged in a beautiful, sustainable calico bag. Designed for reusing to store your swimwear, makeup, stationary or anything you like!
